Hialeah Gardens High School

Welcome to the Garden!

The mascot for Hialeah Gardens High School is the Gladiator. The gladiator is a symbol of valor and courage. Gladiators who displayed continuous excellence were awarded a rudis, a wooden sword. The sword is also a symbol of loyalty, justice, and pursuit of honor. The crest of the school includes the following elements:

· The shield is a symbol of defense of honor.

· The column represents wisdom and achievement through education.

· The key represents unlocking the doorway to knowledge.

· The globe represents worldliness and preparedness for the future.

The colors represent the following qualities:

Green Growth & Harmony

Black Elegance & Depth

Silver Balance & Service

These are many of the qualities we want our students to exhibit throughout their lives - pursuit of knowledge, growth, depth, excellence, honor, and a global awareness, while leading their lives with a sense of harmony, balance, elegance, and service to others. In conjunction with our community, we look forward to working with our youth to instill these values in them while preparing them for the future.
